Developed in the 1960s as a company town meant to support the construction of Glen Canyon Dam, Page Arizona sits on a mesa overlooking Lake Powell in north central Arizona, just across the border from Utah. Today the town of Page is a prosperous desert community with world-class golf courses, resorts, restaurants, and outfitters with all of the gear and guides necessary to go adventuring on foot or on the water around Lake Powell, or down the Colorado River through nearby Glen Canyon.
Page is roughly 300 miles from major airports in both Phoenix and Las Vegas. It may seem like a bit of a hike, but once visitors have arrived in Page, all of the opportunities and potential for adventure in the Grand Circle lie within easy reach.
